Once there lived a person called Rajan. He was very brilliant and was able to solve any problem in a easy way. This made him so
popular and the king appointed him as an advisor. He was very proud about his brilliancy and he never use to teach anything to others. His only son Karna was not much good at learning new things but Rajan loved his son much and he wanted to teach him what all he knows.

Karna had a friend named Indra who was the son of a farmer. Indra was witty and sharp minded boy. Rajan never liked Indra because he was very brilliant than his son Karna. But Karna and Indra remained to be best friends. They grew up together.

After some years Indra’s father told him to work in the fields and help him farming. But Indra was interested to work in palace as
Karna’s father. He expressed his wish to his father. Indra’s father explained that this won’t happen because no one will teach him to become an advisor like Rajan. But he wanted to fulfil his son’s dream, so he went to Rajan and asked to teach his son to become an advisor.

On hearing this Rajan got angry and jealous on Indra. Though he knew Indra was capable to learn and expert in the techniques Rajan
was not interested to teach him the techniques. And also he never wanted Indra to be superior than his son. So he refused to do it.

Next day when Karna met Indra he was sad. When Karna asked why he was sad, Indra explained everything to Karna. Karna went home and threatened Rajan to teach to his friend Indra else he will go somewhere from home. So as there was no other way Rajan to accepted to teach but he really wanted to insult Indra and make him to run away.

Indra came to learn next day. Rajan told Indra to bring a sack and string. Then he took him out near a big tree. He told Indra to get in to the bag, if he stays inside the bag for seven days he will automatically become brilliant. Indra did the same way. Rajan tied
the sack and raised it up to the tree. Now Rajan showed his real face. He shouted, ” You want to learn techniques and become brilliant than my son? Just stay inside the sack without food and water.”

Now Indra understood his plan but don’t know what to do. After Rajan left Indra heard someone calling him. He reconized his friend Karna’s voice. Karna hid himself near a bush when Rajan was lifting the sack up to the tree. Now he wanted teach a lesson to his father.
He broght down the sack and relieved Indra. He wanted to hid himself in the sack and told Indra to do the same what his father done to Indra.

Rajan was shocked that Karna was missing. He realized his mistake. Whatever he did to Indra had punished Karna he felt. He ran to the tree to release Indra. But when he opened the sack he found Karna inside the sack.

Rajan felt sorry and taught the techniques to Indra. Karna and Indra remained friends forever.
